Diane McDaniel, Author and Overcomer

Diane contacted me at the beginning of the year and asked me if she could book a photoshoot in my studio. She went on to tell me that she had written a book called "Journals of a Broken Mind", and asked if I could create a book cover for it. Diane's book describes her journey with being Bipolar, having mental illness, and her desire to help educate others and encourage them with how she has navigated it herself. She is an inspiration to others, and an overcomer of much. I was humbled and excited to be a small part of her first book. The image I have included here will be on the book cover. Diane chose this image pretty quickly, because she felt it was powerful, and expressed a lot of emotion. The kind of emotion she wants her reader to relate to who suffer with mental illness or know someone who does. "Journals of a Broken Mind" will be launched on November 6, 2021. Congratulations Diane, I am excited to get a copy when it is released!
